Review content:
My family and I went the the Larchmont on the night of our arrival in L.A after three weeks of traveling through Europe and New York, and it was the best dining experience we've had the whole trip. We had made a reservation so we were seated straight away, on the balcony outside. It is not a large place and you couldn't have fit any more than the seven tables on the balcony, but the soft lighting and attractive but minimal decor made the area seems spacious and our space very intimate and secluded. Our waiter, Cory, was the friendliest, most helpful waiter we've had, and even though he accidentally knocked a Coke into my lap, he made it impossible to be upset - it was a fun night with his familiar and eager-to-please attitude. He went out of his way to make the spill up to me, bringing complimentary dessert at the end of the meal and chatting to us long after our meal was over about must-see attractions in LA and the less touristy places to visit. Pros: The service, the food and the atmosphere. Cons: The Coke in my lap! But I doubt this a regular feature of the restaurant....
