Checked out Citysearch a few days back for a place to take a group of 10 people for a good, traditional American meal. Found Larchmont Grill and liked what I read. I called and made the reservations, no problem. The day of my reservations, they called to confirm and to ask if there was any special occasion. The host was wondering because of the large group. I just said, no... my urban family is just getting together. We arrived and were seated in a great spot inside. From the moment we sat down, the service (waiter Stephen) was awesome. Great wine recommendations, specific food knowledge, and a great sense of humor. Above all, the food was the stand out. Its rare in LA when all 10 people are raving about their meal and many of us had to take doggie bags becuase there was so much of it! I cant wait to go back again. Thanks Larchmont Grill for making our Urban Family smile!
Pros: Delicious Food and lots of it!
Cons: Wine and Beer only.
