Review content:
After 30 min wait (which made us think we were in for a treat) we were seated at a table by a wall, with light from the bathroom/exit door hallway our only light. Our greasy spring rolls were served hot, but no napkins or silverware. Had to flag down the server to get those. Basil Signature Noodle with chicken was tasty but noodles were MUSH. My friend could not eat her beef dish. I took the remains home and will try for lunch today. One of us had to stand up and walk out to get the attention of our server even though the place was emptying out so that we could order Green Tea Brulee. It arrived fresh hot on top from melting the sugar but that meant it also warmed up the cream brulee. The taste was good though it wasn't as thick as we've usually had plus was a strange temperature from the hot top to the cold bottom. At $45 we aren't willing to give this place a second try. If we want GOOD THAI food we'll return to the SMILING ELEPHANT for the genuine article.
