When my husband and I were dating we lived in Metearie (""Fat City"") 13 years ago, we always ate at Crazy Johnnies. It was our very favorite place to eat. It has a romantic memory for us because we ate their together and loved it. The food was always exceptional for such a reasonable price. We have moved around to different states since then with his job, but whenever we are with a group of friends talking about our wonderful times in New Orleans, we always mention that if your ever in Metearie, you must eat at Crazy Johnnies. It was very small back then and you had to be sure to get there before the crowd. We haven't been back in such a long time, but when we get the chance we will be sure to go to Crazy Johnnies to see how wonderfully it has grown.
