Review content:
I decided to go here because it was close to home and the reviews looked fine. BIG mistake. The first red flag is that he treats his receptionist like she is an idiot when she is not, in fact she is the only good thing about the whole practice. He also seemed to rub it on thick about how depressing it must be to be having back pains at the age of 23. Thanks, jerk. He seems to try to use fear tactics to get patients to sign up, emphasizing that 'you are lucky you came in because if you didn't your spine will fuse together'. I knew I should have left at that point but decided to give it a shot, maybe he's just bad at communication.
But his treatments were horrible. I have been to chiropractors in the past and never been in that much pain. I understand that it may have to get worse before it can get better, but that was too much pain. I came in to help fix my tension headaches, but after the first four treatments I got a terrible tension headache that lasted 4 days straight.
On top of that, when I was telling him about how my body was reacting, he got very defensive (which was odd since I wasn't accusing him, just informing him...) and basically told me to suck it up, what he was doing was right and I am obviously not committed to my health. After that, I canceled treatment.
Bottom line, this guy is a jerk, is very untrustworthy, and is not a good chiropractor. If you are looking for a chiropractor, go to Divine Chiropractic's on 2nd Ave & Seneca, they are fantastic!
