Review content:
I'm slightly ashamed to admit my dog goes to daycare. I never thought I would be one of those people. But, for a little bit less than what I used to pay a neighborhood girl to let him out during the day, he can go to daycare once a week. I have highly recommended this place to folks.
Before going here, we visited another dog daycare facility. It was a nice spring day with temps in the low 70's. The first place we went to had an odor of urine that almost knocked you over when you walked through the door. I can't imagine how it gets in the heat of summer. When we walked into Dogtopia of Dulles, it smelled very nice, so nice, you had to wonder if they actually had dogs there (the barking did give it away). We asked if we could see one of the rooms in the back, and they allowed us to see one that they weren't using at the time. They apologized for how messy it was, but honestly I couldn't see what was messy about it. Even that room, in it's ""messy"" state, smelled nice.
My dog has been happily going here for about a year now. He's always excited to go, and worn out when he gets back. The staff are all great, learned who he was quickly, and seem to take good care of him. They even honored the odd request I had a time or two.
Pros: Friendly, makes for happy dogs
Cons: They do require money.
