Although there are some who have been very unsatisfied with White Tiger?s contractual conditions, there are many more that are highly satisfied. My family is one of those highly satisfied.
In our case, I enrolled my son for a 3 year contract. After 2 years, my husband signed a yearly contract for himself; then, my daughter and I decided to join but this time, since I was not sure if I would last, I signed up only for a monthly contract. As it turned out, in the case of my husband, he experienced knee pain after 8 months; moreover, his work and business travel schedule made it very hard for him to continue. He stopped shortly before the expiration of his contract. In the case of my daughter and me, we are now only a month away from our black belt test, a feat I was skeptical I could achieve, but here we are!
We have experienced many benefits of martial arts. Aside from the strenuous training to build our skills and to keep us fit, we also have developed self control and discipline. Let?s face it, education, and life as a whole, is what you make it. White Tiger has excellent unmatched facilities. The masters are very highly qualified, determined, enthusiastic, and dedicated. Tae Kwon Do is their life. If you diligently do your part as a student, there is no reason why White Tiger will not be able to help you develop in a systematic way from the basic level through each succeeding level until an acceptable degree of mastery is achieved; thus helping you meet your overall objectives.
Since White Tiger is also a business venture, they prepare a contract with terms and conditions, including your financial obligations, for you to sign, if you agree with it. The company also protects itself from liabilities by asking prospective clients to sign a waiver against any lawsuit in case of a training-related injury. Even if we assume that White Tiger is not very clear in explaining its terms and conditions, it does not free one from its consequences. That is a part of life.
However, if White Tiger wants to actively demonstrate its good faith in getting into contract with its clients, I suggest that it prepares a clear statement of its offer and of the different options available, including a copy of the contract before it is signed. These could be both downloadable from the White Tiger website and could be readily available at the office, so that prospective clients can carefully consider whether they are amenable to the contract terms and conditions. It should also refrain from getting people to sign without being fully aware of the consequences, explaining its nuances clearly. Then it could greatly reduce the recurrence of unsatisfied and angry clients.
White Tiger renders exemplary services. It would be wise for it to give more attention to this problem because it does not deserve reviews which tarnish its otherwise excellent reputation.
