Review content:
I was a Sam's Club member for 2 decades, this store convinced me to try Costco, I thought my first trip to Costco was a fluke, after my 3rd trip I stapled my Sam's card to a note and sent it to Bentonville.
Chronically out of items you specifically make a trip there to get, they'd tell me we don't carry that any more, yet it would be at other Sam's Clubs. Check out lines are ""always"" horrible, the number of checkers is based on schedule, the number of people in line does not seem to factor in, I've seen them cash out, decreasing the number of checkers, with the lines backing into the merchandise aisles.
I'd be standing looking at a set of products and a Sam's Club associate would wheel a cart up and park right in front of what I'm looking at, not an excuse me or I'm sorry, they just don't seem to care. It's useless to bring it to the store's management, you get a ""I'll see what I can do about that,"" followed by a roll of the eyes. On a number of occasions I'd see managers or leads walk up and start talking to checkers as they try to check people out, not due to an issue, just to shoot the breeze.
Never tried their pharmacy, good thing, I'd probably not be here to tell you about it.
Got a Costco AMEX with 0$ yearly fee and ""any"" gas purchased with it gets you 5% cash back, not just gas you buy from them.
Parking lot is full of pranksters that let the air out of your tires or try to sell you something then while you're distracted their buds are trying to grab something while you're not looking.
Please Note: In no way do I work for Costco, but you talk to the people that work there and it seems like a really great place to work.
