Review content:
Traveling to Maryland, there is an expectation of eating a crab cake. We went to two restaurants in the area, the other renoun for their crab cakes. Of the two, the one at Snyder's was by far the BEST of crab cakes! Wonderfully seasoned, I got it both fried and broiled (prefered the broiled). My friend had a combination platter with clams (fresh and divine), scallops (also fresh and very tasty), a ""fish steak,"" crab cake and a stuffed shrimp that was out of this world. Although white table cloth, the waitstaff was friendly and the restaurant had a homey atmosphere to it. My only complaint would be the huge slice of red onion served on the salad (a bit much). But, that's just me. Everything else (atmosphere, wait staff, food) was excellent. Would definitely recommend it and will come back the next time I come to Baltimore.
