Review content:
I suffered a car crash and was taken by ambulence
to Worcester Medical Center. Some CAT scans
and other Xrays were done to check me out. I
gave all my insurance info several times. I suddenly
received a collection notice from a collection agency
due to payment sought by St. Vincent Radiologist
Assoc of Grove St., Worcester. They had been the
service provider at the hospital. I never received any
kind of bill from them. When I called them, I was
referred to a billing service out of state. I was able
to talk to the service and they did attempt to assist me.
They agreed to send me a bill. I was told that they
had billed me at least three times. I never received
a single bill which is kind of strange since we have
a locked mailbox. At any rate, although they did
help me, they should have called off the credit
collectors and apologized. I appreciate that the
billing co they utilize was helpful, and that this
was probably just an error either on the post office
or someone else's part, but it has been very stressful
for me to scramble around and try to appease them
and pay a bill suddenly I didn't have in my budget
because I never even knew about it. They should
have given me more time to pay.
Pros: as far as I know, seem to be good medically
Cons: credit collection agency for your own error? Please!
