I am new to the Katy area, and I can't tell you how much I wanted to like this place. The curb appeal was enough to draw me in, and the atmosphere is adorable, for lack of a better word. Is it then, to much to ask for delectable, delicious desserts? Apparently so, because the quality was below average. The lemon bar my mom ordered was actually ""tough""..hard to cut with a fork, and lacked that tartness that you would expect. My daughters cupcake was dry and flavorless, and the icing left a chemical taste in my mouth. My coconut cream pie was pretty good, though, so I give credit where credit is due. This place has so much surface appeal, but it's what's inside that counts!!! PLEASE Ooh La La, step it up!! I would pay the price for a yummy cup cake. I hope this place improves.
