After reading of VOX?s opening I got very excited, I am a wine enthusiast and frequent many bars/restaurants in Las Vegas. Online I read great reviews and also a promotion of half off there menu Monday nights. I went on a Monday with a friend after work, as we walked in it seemed very nice. There was maybe 3 to 4 customers all sitting at the bar. We noticed a lounge to the side with a fire place which excited us. The wait staff was obviously annoyed to we even entered, they had a visible discussion of who would have to serve us. We were then told the kitchen was closed, they did not have any promotions and if we wanted to sit in the lounge we would have to order at the bar and walk are drinks over. We were a bit distraught from the brazenness, but were adamant on enjoying a glass of wine. We ordered 2 very nice glasses and proceeded to the lounge. The sitting was very jacquard and uncomfortable; the music was very loud (some sort of techno). The experience was nothing short of unpleasant, I would not go back and would never recommend.
