After reading the many reviews of XYZ Restaurant and chef Malachi Harland's food, I decided I should give it a try and see what the buzz was all about. Being a cynic by nature...I was ready for the worst. But starting with the gracious greeting I received upon arriving to the many thank you's I received as I made my out, XYZ didn't miss a beat. The food never failed to satisfy. The timeing between courses was excellent. The service was friendly and proficient and with over 400 wines to choose from, I was more than able to find a few bottles that satisfied myself and my guests. If I had to wager one complaint it would be that the music, at times, seems more fitting to the bustling bars than the restaurant. This, however, did little to detract from the fun I was having in the dining room.
