Review content:
Metro Express can certainly find cheap monthly insurance rates. Have an accident, though, and the fun begins. I had two accidents this summer, and had to deal with an insurance company three times. Two of those were filling out paperwork for the ins co that Metro Express signed me up with, and the third was the company I filed a claim against. My company wasn't too difficult, but I wish that I could have simply called my agent and they could fill out everything that didn't require an eyewitness. I also wish Metro Express had been willing to work with Progressive on my behalf, because Progressive is a total nightmare and that's what I pay the agent to deal with. Another thing: If you miss a payment or a payment is lost (which is easy to do using their drop box), you get zero warning from Metro Express that your policy has lapsed. I finally got a note from them 30 days after the fact when one of my payments wasn't posted for some reason. 30 days is far too late, as one's DL can be suspended in that time for lack of insurance. I got my policy re written, only to find out that the company they signed me up with is rated F by the BBB. You get practically nothing in exchange for the app fee and the monthly fee to use the drop box with Metro Express. Bottom line, if you want an agent to actually work with your insurance company on your behalf instead of just accepting the payments, go somewhere else.
