Review content:
I feel so lucky to have found Dr.Weintraub!
I haven't renewed my Botox since I moved to New York from Europe a year ago and really needed an injection asap: I could not stand seeing those nasty horizontal lines coming back to my forehead and the deep crow's feet forming around my eyes every time I smile, and I smile a lot. I'll skip the part of how I found out about Dr.Weintraub, but I feel I've gotten SO LUCKY to have done so. Now, I really want to share my experience with anyone looking for the best beauty specialist in Manhattan.
I came to his posh office on Fifth Avenue with a little of a prejudice that it might be one of those pathetic Upper East Side practices, catering to the rich old money clientele, to which I don't belong and may not feel very comfortable at. I was wrong: everyone in the office, from the receptionist to the doctor's assistant and Mr. Weintraub himself made me feel relaxed, comfortable and happy about my experience from the moment I walked in. I should mention that I wasn't the most lucrative client ever, as I only did two zones of Dysport injection (forehead and eyes) at a discounted rate. I still was treated like I was Madonna. I had done the same procedure before and I liked my cosmetologist, who was one of the best in that city in Europe where I used to live. However, the experience I had with Dr.Weintraub has exceeded my highest expectations of a top-grade practice. Everything in the procedure was of the highest quality imaginable : from the unique numbing cream custom made somewhere in California (acts immediately and feels more comfortable than regular ones used by other doctors); the micro-tiny Japanese needles that he used for one or two times each and reached for a new one every other time, just to make sure they are virgin-sharp, precise and won't bruise your face; the special reclining chair that comfortably places you upside down to ensure your blood vessels are perfectly defined and guaranteed from being accidentally pierced. In every little detail I could feel that it was about passion for Dr. Weinstraub, not just about business. What was above all, is Barry Weintraub himself. His assistant told me he'd taken a psychology course which made him such a great communicator, but I think someone has to have a God given talent to make people feel as great around him as he does.
His assistant (I'm sorry, I got so exited I forgot her name) was a perfection too: the way she prepared my face for the injections, held her comforting hands on my forehead during the injections and applied ice after made the usually unpleasant procedure feel like a relaxing massage in a spa. The whole procedure was very time efficient, pleasant all the way, and left no visible marks on my face (some light bruising disappeared withing the next 30 - 40 minutes).
Well, I can go on and on for days, I'm so exited.. I cannot wait for my next visit to their office. It was the best few hundred dollars spent in a year. If you think you can't af
