When I first moved here 21 yrs. ago I was in a tizzy about finding a new hair salon and stylist. It is a womans' worst nightmare. One day while shopping at Albertson's, (now Publix), I found Scissorhands tucked back next door to them. Went in, made an appointment and have been a loyal customer ever since.
I am so happy I took that chance way back then. David, the owner/stylist is just fabulous. When he styles my hair I walk out feeling and looking like a million bucks.
The shop itself is sleek and modern, done in black and turqouise. Beautiful plants are placed at each station and David decorates the salon for each and every holiday. And believe me, he does an exquisite job of decorating!
There isn't a bad stylist in this salon. Trust me, I know, because I have had my hair done by each and every one of them at one time or another over the course of the past 21 years.
As for the cost of getting your hair cut, colored or permed, I find that it is very resonable and competative with all the other salons in this area.
When it comes time for you to get your hair done, call Scissorhands. You will not regret it. This is the one place that has stylists who really listen to you when you tell them what YOU want done to your hair and they don't turn around and do what they want to do to your hair.
