Review content:
I brought in a jacket to have the collar and lapel changed into leather and she said she would be able to it (for a hefty price $100). Feeling confident that she would do a good job, I agreed anyway because she was recommended to me. When it was finally finished I was so excited to see the final product but to my disappointment, she had only hand stitched the inside of the jacket with stitches that were about 1/2 an inch apart, it didn't look professional at all (it was something I could have done on my own) and when I complained about it, she said it was a hard job to do. I then told her that that's why I had hired her as a professional to do a professional job. She did not agree and said again it is a hard job and that she did a good job. I paid her anyway (what choice did i have and she declined to give me a discount) and when I got home to inspect the jacket some more I had discovered that the collar and the lapel were not even and did not match. What a waste of money. She had only agreed to do the job to make a quick buck because I now know she had already doubted herself to do a good job to begin with. They don't even take debit or credit cards so when I offered to pay her in check form she had doubted my check. Wish I would have not taken my jacket there. I'm sure she can do small simple alterations but don't trust her with expensive hard jobs. Not worth the money.
