A nightmare! The back wheel of my moped got stolen, requiring me to replace the back wheel and rear brake assembly, which is attached to the wheel of my Tomos Moped. Mini Trail is the only dealer for Tomos in the entire Philadelphia area, so I felt I had no choice but to deal with them. Everything started out OK as they gave me a good deal for a good wheel with no brake assembly and a broken wheel with the brake assembly attached. So all I had to do, they claimed, was switch the brake assembly from one wheel to the next. After three frustrating hours of dealing with bolts that wouldn't budge, I finally got the brake assembly on the good wheel, but it was the wrong size. I called Mini Trail Bikes and told them that the brake was the wrong size, but they didn't believe me, saying that I installed it wrong and to bring it in for service. I find a ride to go back (it's over 30 minutes away from me) and sure enough, it was the wrong size, so I end up having to order another brake. OK... we're up to $100 here. Well, weeks pass and the brake doesn't arrive. I called the store once a week or so to check on the package, and everytime I called, the rudeness and lack of willingness to help me was absolutely astounding! ""It will be there next week"" was the answer I invariably got. ""Can you track the package,"" I asked Kenny. ""I'll do it later and call you back."" No call back. Each time I called, Kenny was progressively ruder and ruder. Almost a month had passed and I was at my wits end with this place. I called yesterday and asked for the tracking number so I could just track the package myself. Nope. Later, Kenny said. After pleading my case again, Kenny went on to yell at me, telling me about a bunch of persinal problems. At this point, I asked him to cancel my order, which, of course, he said he would do later. This prompted me to call my credit card company to dispute the charge. AND, as a side note, I called Hale Bicycles in Cape May and Bruce was extremely kind, had the correct brake in stack, and shipped it that day, to be received 3 days later. Do not go to Mini Trail Bikes. Do not call Mini Trail Bikes. The disrespect that you will be given is not something any honest moped rider should have to deal with!
