Review content:
When I first visited the Portland City Grill nearly two years ago, I was very impressed. Two years later, I'm no longer impressed. They need to turn it up a notch. The menu never changes, the soups are gross and never change, there are never specials, the seafood menu items differ very little from one another, and many of the menu items are a joke. A salami sandwich at a five-star restaurant? Some of the happy hour items are pathetic. My wife ordered the Thai lettuce wraps and received teriyaki chicken (resembling dog food) custom molded to the shape of the bowl it was probably microwaved in. Portland is becoming a great food city with lots of great restaurants. And while the Portland City Grill is definitely worth visiting for the view, there's not much that makes you want to come back. Pros: Amazing view, Good Steaks, Friendly staff Cons: , Menu never changes, Soups never change
