My boyfriend and I went here for Valentine's Day last year and we were really looking forward to it because it was voted Most Romantic in '07. The lighting and candles are romantic but the bar was extremely noisy and took away any possibility of being romantic. It took FOREVER to get our drinks! Also when we made reservations we asked if they were going to have a special valentine's day menu, they said they were but we could also order off of the regular menu, but when we got there they said we could only order of the valentine's day menu. We started of with an amazing crab cake, which really made us look forward to the rest of the meal, however, the salad was mediocre, the lamb shank with bean puree and short ribs were bland and room temperature, the only thing that was any good was the asparagus. Then we finished off with a big heart shaped cheesecake with a couple of chocolate dipped strawberries. The cheesecake was o.k. nothing special. And then when we got the bill we couldn't believe it $170 for 2 people, with no wine, and an automatically added 20% gratuity. While the crab cake was awesome, we will definitely NOT be returning.
