Concierge at The Peabody recommended Timpano so we went there for dinner. Nice selection of pasta, seafood and beef as well as chicken and veal dishes. Started with the tomato stack - red and yellow tomatoes with think slabs of mozzerella and basil and drizzled with a little oil and balsamic. Large enough to share for two. YUM. I had the Kobe seared pork chop. Juicy and cooked to perfection! My co-worker had the chicken parmasan and she said it was terrific. Had a side of garlic mashed potatoes - again large enough to share. Nice selection of wines by the glass. Our servers were friendly, witty and knowledgeable about the food and wines. Carlos had a smile and a comment for everything. Timpano's could clone him and teach other restaurants a thing or two!
