OK, I used to live in Portland a really long time ago, and I remember going to the park and the pool all the time with my family. I took swimming lessons there. Even though I'm no future Olympic champion, I still appreciate the memories that looking at the pictures of the park and the pool gave me!!! I can still remember clinging for dear life to the side of the pool (in the section that was only about 2 feet deep!) Then again, when you're only six years old, two feet is a lot! I love Portland and want to visit again sometime!!! Pros: great location, I love how the park is a short walk from the shopping district, the elementary school Cons: ummm...none that I can think of, but I guess sometimes the pool can be crowded on really hot days
