We had been coming to this laundry for 5 years & had no problems. The lady that usually helped my husband was always courteous. Until one day, another person was there replacing her. We left our bags with her. The next day we picked up the laundry and they were all smelling like the clothing had been in a bar full of smoke, it was so strong it was not a simple odor; it was a stench. We went back to see what can be done. Our entire living room smelled like smoke and I am pregnant and my son is 9 months old. The lady said we would have to deal with the owner. My husband went back after work with me. I met with the owner and he said it has been all fixed up and proceeded to nicely set the bags on my trunk. My husband tipped him for his generosity. We got home and the clothing smelled like softener sheets, after the smell went away, the odor of smoke still remain. My husband went back to let the lady, and she try to insinuate that we smoke. Mind you, we do not smoke. My husband had to go back again, and the owner flat out told him there was nothing he can do, he already had spread a disinfectant? on our clothes. He also said he did not smell any smoke on the clothing and He refused to wash them again and said he would only wash them but would have to charge us half the price. We paid $30 dollars for the service, not to mention the time we wasted returning to the laundry. We decided not to pay any additional money; we refused to pay half the price that he offered us. We had laundry and we paid for it to be washed and cleaned. What they did was filled our clothing with smoke; which does not constitute as being clean, and it is definitely considered dirty. We ended up with dirty laundry that I had to wash all over again once we got home. We will not be coming back, but beware of your laundry smelling like you came out of a bar. They will not believe you; even insinuate that perhaps you smoke and take your money. Be careful with this place!!
