...If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up. Ferris Bueler wasn't talking about a ski vacation, but he might as well have. If you have any opportunity to check out one of North America's gems, do so. The skiing is out of this world. The people are friendly, and catching a beer buzz at altitude is an experience that you won't soon forget. If you have a friend in the area or even one of the Johnny Frontrange weekend warriors, get on their good side and see the real Vail mountain that expands beyond the front side.
Pros: nightlife, excellent crud skiing, food choice
