Review content:
For a large church this is a very warm place to worship. We were turned off by Church's that came on too strong the first time we visited and others that left us shut out. There has to be a happy middle. We found it at 'Our Saviour's'... This was one of the Church's that gave us our space without making us feel left out or lost. They allowed us to join in as we felt comfortable. Once we started to make ourselves known, this large church felt just as the small town Church's we grew up with, sweet and comfortable. It has a down home feel with all of the ""perks"" that a larger church can give. The program of service is easy to follow. Major points like communion are explained or announced for newbies at the beginning of service. There is a cry room available when needed and a children's message every week that the kids RUN to the front to hear/participate! Even the parking is plentiful and easy! The exciting thing- 4 types of services are offered on Sundays! Literally something for everyone!! An early morning worship, A traditional original Lutheran service, A contemporary service with a live band,clapping, lots of singing etc and sometimes in the chapel there is even an interactive service , a unique way to worship hands on. Overall, as newer members, we have found this church to be welcoming and friendly. It is as wonderful for winter or one time visitors as it is for its full time members.
