Avoid this funeral home. My cousin?s service was there and the staff was rude, insensitive and inappropriate. Before they closed the casket it was the family?s time to say our last goodbyes. About 15 family members were in line to view the body before the casket was closed. After about 5 people went up, the undertaker approached us and said ok come on you all need to go up at once, we need to get to the cemetery. I could not believe he was doing this. What was the big rush to go to the cemetery??? At the cemetery after the reverend performed the service, the undertaker asked everyone to go to their cars and proceed to the luncheon except immediate family. Once the deceased mother went up and put a flower on the casket, the undertaker again told us we all needed to get to our cars and proceed to the luncheon. Nobody had a chance to put a flower on the casket. Again what was the big rush?? Upon dropping off the family at the luncheon the undertaker informed the mother of the deceased who has MS and doesn't drive that if she wanted a ride home it would be $50.00 an hour. I could not believe the inappropriateness of this funeral home staff. I was appalled that they would treat people this way especially at a time when people are grieving. I think the staff at this funeral home needs sensitivity training and needs to learn basic etiquette. My advice is to use another funeral home.
