Review content:
I came to this shoe repair location because I have an expensive pair of dark brown suede boots that had a spot on the top where I had apparently spilled an oily substance, about the size of a nickle. I brought the boots to this store to see if they could remove the stain. I showed him the boot and he immediately said that it would cost me $39.00 for him to remove the stain but he showed me a bottle of Angelus Suede Cleaner that he sold for $15.99. He explained that I should take an old tooth brush and to carefully clean the entire boot (not to dilute it) and repeat if necessary. He said to put the boots on newspaper or papertowels and let them dry indoors. I purchased the cleaner though it was I thought pretty expensive and took it home. After following his instructions, I waited overnite for it to dry. When it was dry, the stain was exactly as it had been and the surrounding suede area was lightened! Keep in mind, he was VERY insistent that this product would work. I was naturally upset as my boot looked worse than before so I took it back to the store today. I showed the female their the boot and what had happened. She began to speak loudly in a very heavy accent, and pulled out a shoe brush and a cap to put the cleaner in and said, you need to clean again and again! I said I won't do that because the boot had already been lightened by the product they sold me. At this point, the man that sold me the cleaner came up and aggressively said that I did not follow his instructions which was not true! I told him that I want my money back and they both shook their heads and said ""no refund for you, no refund for you!!"" He said if I wanted a refund that I should call the Police!
For anyone who reads this, DO NOT USE THIS SHOE REPAIR! They lie and sell inferior products and have horrible service!! Not to mention their shop is full of dumpy refurbished vacuum's and the walls are covered with junk! I should have known better, and I will next time!
Pros: NONE!
Cons: Read details
