Review content:
My friend and I went to this place a few weeks ago for a fundraiser in the bar. They have this program called the celebrity bartender where anyone can sign up to be the bartender and the restaurant will give all of the profits from the bar to the charity of the bartender's choice. The chef put out some great hors d'oeuvres and even though it was crowded, they were able to get us a table. We had an outstanding dinner! All of the appetizers looked really great but we had already eaten some at the bar so we didn't have room. My friend is a vegetarian so she had this dish of grilled eggplant with roasted tomato and asparagus over polenta which was really yummy. I had the braised lamb shank with greens ( I asked them for mashed potatoes too) and it was so tender that it melted in my mouth. We split a dessert of chocolate mousse which was very large but very decadant.
Pros: Food prices are lower than many restaurants of the same caliber
Cons: Parking is difficult to find without walking a bit.
