Review content:
I'd like to second a previous observation that a large percentage of these reviews sound as if they had been written by a Starr House employee. My skepticism is only reinforced by my own bad experience at Starr House, which might not have seemed as negative had I not driven what turned out to be over an hour to the place on the basis of the many suspiciously well-worded positive reviews on this site. I happened to get lost on my way there and arrive late, so to be fair I won't go into the specific snootiness with which I was greeted in case I deserved that for being late. However, after my haircut, Albert repeatedly burned my neck with the hairdryer while flat-brushing my hair so vehemently that it felt like it was being yanked out by the roots, bringing tears to my eyes, and he did not cease burning me even after I jerked away suddenly a couple of times and he had to say, ""Oh, sorry, did I burn you?"" (I assured him that he had). If you do go to this salon that has to drum up business by writing its own reviews, make sure and don't be late or you will be physically injured as a consequence!!!
