First let me say that not every salon can please all of the people all of the time, but Starr House pleased me and I am very picky. I have been to most salon in the Pasadena area including several recommended on this site and a few on the west side too. I have found that they are not bad but not great either. I gave it one more go at this site and found starr house. I called and was pretty much interviewed by Karen ( a service I loved as she explained she wanted to match me to the right people) she recommended Andrea and Kimberly. I went to the salon and filled out a consultation form and had a very long talk with Andrea about my color. How often I wanted to come in, how much I wanted to spend, how I kept it up (product) and what I had done in the past. I was really amazed at how long she spent with me. Kimberly talked to me for a long time too. I had my services and was just thrilled with the result. I think the hilights are the most natural I have ever had and the cut is cute and easy to take care of. The referral program (send in 3 friends and get a free service) topped off my great time. Thanks Starr House for giving me hope in the Pasadena area again.
