Review content:
For our first year of service, Digis was fine. Our speeds were okay at about 1Mbps down, but not fantastic. After the first year, things started to go bad. We had to reset constantly (go down to the basement, unplug it, wait 20 seconds, plug it back in) at least weekly and sometimes several times a day. We made several service calls where we would get helpful suggestions like ""try unplugging your router."" We don't have a router. After several months of this, they finally upgraded our equipment to a canopy and charged us $5 a month more for ""Ultra High-Speed Internet,"" which meant that we ought to be getting up to 5Mbps down. Instead, we were getting 500k. Another service call revealed that they were throttling our speeds because we were exceeding our 12 Gigs of transfer a month. When I argued that that was impossible, the tech's helpful suggestion was, ""Do you have teenagers at home?"" Uh, no. Then he said we probably had a virus. I had just run a virus scan the day before and it came up clean. Besides which, we have a Mac, so it's rare to get viruses at all. Before the end of the day, I canceled our service and signed up with Rapidwave. Now we're getting 6-8Mbps and couldn't be happier!
Pros: None that I can think of
Cons: Slow speeds, terrible customer service
