Absolutely the WORST service I have EVER had from a vet, or any business for that matter! COMPLETE CON ARTIST! I was paying for my dog's neuter through the Friends of Animals low cost neuter, which made the charge $75, then there was the $68 for all the shots, worming, and heartworm test. I declined the pain injection and antibiotics because it was financially not in the books to do them. The bill should have been $143. When I got there I was greeted to a bill for $241!!! HUGE difference! If I knew that was coming I would have taken him to my normal vet and paid the same price there. I made them break down the bill for me. Even though I said NO to the shots and antibiotics and the tech wrote it on the papers, they gave them to my dog anyway and charged me for it, as well as changed the price of the neuter itself from $75 to $110. I was in total shock! They had also added on $18 for an exam that would not have been an issue if I had known it was going to be there. All in all, they changed the price of the neuter, took off the cost of the injection, took my money, and then would not let me have my dog back until they put the charge back on for the injection and made me pay TWICE! What should have been $143 cost me $200 and I personally watched the vet stick the money right in his pocket rather than in any drawer or register. Then they had the nerve to ask me what day was good for me to come back for his other shots! NOT A CHANCE! He will be going to a vet who loves dogs, not cash! I have never been so mad in all my life! I tried to do something good by being a responsible pet owner and I got completely ripped off for it! TOTAL SCAM ARTIST! I truly regret even getting involved with Friends of Animals now because of this sham of a vet, which is a total shame because that is an amazing program. AVOID AT ALL COSTS because trust me, it WILL cost you and it will cost you BIG!!!
