Had a bathroom remodeled. It was gutted and the quality of the tub and surround is like cheap plastic. Light bar above the medicine cabinet isn't exactly what we ordered. They tried to push off something else until I insisted I wanted the one that was agreed upon in the :contract"". Called the company rep to explain about the tub not being ""seated right"" and the caulking around the tub and surround. Also told him about caulking not done at the top of the surround. Every time we'd use the shower or the tub we'd hear a cracking or popping noise. Told the rep again about this and was told it's just the caulking adjusting to the weight in the tub. Later noticed a musty, mildew odor in the bathroom. Recently, got tired of excuses and checked the tub the next time I heard the cracking noise. There is a 6+ inch crack in the bottom of the tub. Reason is clearly that there is no support beneath the main body of the tub. Husband tried calling the number given and it's no longer in service. 800 # he was given is to a Sex Hot Line. We've been scammed big time. Even their bank that we have the loan from isn't reachable by phone. You have to write. What are the chances that your letter will get to the proper person???? We're reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau and to the Consumer Protection Agency. We've also contacted the local authorities about these people. Don't be pressuered into even considering having them do work in your home.
