On Saturday evening, October 22, 2011,my wife and I ate dinner at your Waxahachie restaurant. We paid for our dinner with a credit card. The next day we determined we had left our credit card at Chill's. I went in and contacted the manager of the day,She had a nasty attitude, why I don't know. She left me standing by the sign in book and after about 10 minutes I asked the waitress if they had found it. She said no we don't have it. I said why didn't you tell me rather than leaving me stand here. She had no answer. I left and went home and told my wife to call the restaurant and see if she could find anything out. She called and asked to speak to the manager and the manager informed my wife sarcasticly that she had told me they didn't find it. She asked for our telephone number and our name which my wife provided. This part time manager was Amanda. A few nights later we stopped in to Chili's and talked to the waitress we had the night we left our credit card there. Her name was Alyssa, she said she had found our card the night we left and tried to catrch us but she was too late. She said just a minute and I'll get my General Manager to get it out of the safe. She said she had wrapped it with our name attached and put it in the safe the Saturday night we ate there. She got her General Manager ,however, after he opened the safe the card was gone.I asked him what happenede to it and he said he didn't know , but promised me faithfully he would look into the matter and call me that same night. He reitteratered that he would call me three times. I'm still waiting for the call. I never did get my credit card back and had to cancel it because of his loose operation. I feel as though Chili's owes me some kind of compensation for what my wife and I had to go through contacting all of the people who automatically charged our credit card for services rendered. After I finally got the card transferred I called the General Manager and he informed me he didn't know what happened to the card cause there was a fill in manager that night and he was off. I asked him again if he was the General Manager and he said he was. I told him it seemed to me that finding my card should have still been his priority. He said he didn't know how it got out of the safe. (I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED) William C Schwarzenbach.
