Review content:
I studied at Central Michigan University and used to stop at the Sweet Onion every time I got back in town and ordered a bowl of French Onion Soup. The ride from Clinton Township to Mt. Pleasant was 2 1/2 hours and the awaiting bowl of French Onion soup made the ride more enjoyable knowing I would be indulging in the soup's heavenly goodness. I would stop at the Sweet Onion before I even went to my dorm first. I consider myself a French Onion soup enthusiast and have had the soup at many different restaurants in many different states and countries. This joint has THE BEST I have ever had. I honestly don't think I ever ordered anything else here, so all I can vouch for is the french onion soup. Just typing this is making my mouth water. In the near future I'm going to have to take a ride back up to Mt. Pleasant with a few college buddies and check out a football game and stop and get about 3 bowls of that oniony bliss. Cheers!
