Review content:
My husband and I went to Muriel's on an anniversary trip to New Orleans. Both of us enjoyed our meals - he had the eggplant and red pepper salad, the crabcake appetizer (we shared) and the grilled shrimp; I had the prix fixe with the pecan-crusted puppy drum as my entree (which was incredibly rich but delicious). The staff went out of their way to disreetly wish us a happy anniversary, including writing ""Happy Anniversary"" on my dessert plate and having other staff wish us one on the way out. The prix fixe was quite reasonable considering what we received. They also have a nice selection of half bottles, which I appreciated because my husband doesn't drink.
Pros: delicious food, 1/2 bottles available
