Review content:
I am a SoCal girl raised by a very Southern Woman, if there's two things I know about food, it's BBQ and Cajun. I make it a habit to try every cajun/creole joint in the SoCal area and it never tastes like this joint. Family owned and operated, there is only one chef, and she's a New Orleans native and uses family recipies. The Gumbo is the best I've ever had, the Blackened Chicken (or Catfish) is addictive. Jambalaya, Alligator on a Stick, Hot Sausage Po Boy, Mac n Cheese is to die for! They make their own house salad dressing and Gator romalaude sauce, and the desserts are all homeade. Certian items come over $20, but portions are huge-large Gumbo bowl is big enough for two. I eat there often, and I'm never disappointed! The service is warm and friendly, they always make you feel like you're at home. Pros: Authenticity, Service, Atmoshpere Cons: , Can be Expensive, Gets Crowded
