Review content:
Shmackyrelish and i went here over Birdfest weekend, and it was really good, even with ridgefield being so packed with people. it was crowded, but not uncomfortable. it's a cozy restaurant, with only about 15 tables, and on the day we went, they had live entertainment in the form of uncle yascha. he was a fun addition to the ambience. i had the ridgefield omelet, which was excellent, and a biscuit, which was obviously home made..but not quite cooked. i attributed this to the crowded conditions, and i think on another day, the biscuit might have been one of the highlights of my meal. i also got breakfast potatoes, which were yummy but not crispy enough for me. shmack had the pioneer JLT, which was made with spanish ham, lettuce, and tomato. she enjoyed it, but found the meat portion skimpy.
Pros: tasty food, good entertainment, good service
Cons: weekend crowded
