Review content:
I do not recommend Boston Body Worker due to the horrible customer service I recently experienced. I had been going there for about 2 years for acupuncture- Megan who recently left, was great. However, when she left they brought aboard a replacement. When I called to make my regular appointment with the new acupuncturist, they told me I had to make an another ""initial appointment"" and pay another $100 fee for it even though I was already an existing acupuncture customer and filled out all the necessary paperwork, etc. As I said to them, this policy is not fair and is very inconsistent with the other services they offer. (They charge an existing acupuncture customer 2 initial fees on the basis that the appointment is with a new therapist; whereas massage customers can see multiple therapists and only pay one initial fee.) Much much worse than my disagreement about the policy (I can get over the extra $50 I paid) was the treatment I got from the owner- Drew. Horrendous. He started our conversation by asking ""are you done yet?"" He also told me that ""I was talking out both sides of my mouth"" and was very patronizing to me, repeating my name over and over again while I was speaking. Let me also add... the new acupuncturist (Dr. Doan) seems like a very nice person - but she did not help my sore neck at all. All in all, they need to improve their customer service big time. I can only guess that they are so busy servicing all their one-time groupon customers that Drew has stopped valuing his long-time customers... Either that or their business is suffering and he needs to fight his customers for every penny.
