Businiess name:  Beehive Appliance Service

Review content:
I called Beehive Appliance Service regarding a problem with a dishwasher issue. I was charged $69 only to be told that the dishwasher had been loaded incorrectly and that there was some serious soap build up. He sat there and scraped some build-up with a screwdriver then I was then told to go buy muriatic acid and do a treatment myself. I thought that since nothing had been repaired (the reason I called) and I had not purchased anything from them, they would not charge me or I would only be charged only a portion of the price. I feel like $69 is pretty steep for a trip/diagnostic charge. Unfortunately the check I provided bounced and instead of calling to inform me and work out a solution, I was left a message telling me that if they didn't receive payment immediately, they were going to have to send the issue to collections. That response, I believe, is only warranted when a significant amount of time has passed without being paid or there have been multiple problems. 1) You shouldn't make a client feel ashamed for calling and 2) there is no need to threaten a client. I wish I had never called Beehive Appliance Service. With all the help he gave, I could have done a little searching online and saved myself $69.
