First, I had several requests like remove the vegetation and debris. This did not happen before pouring though we took it upon ourselves to move some because they threw it liberally everywhere, including on our new sod. The frames that were supposed to be centered with our gate door were not. When they began pouring, they ran out of concrete with several sections of sidewalk partially poured. When the new truck arrived hours later they just poured it over the top (and splattered it all over our nice new red border rocks).
The finish is horrible. I would add pictures if I could. They spit sunfower seeds everywhere including in several sections of concrete - and you can see them. There is vegation in nearly every piece sticking out (patio and sidewalk that wraps around house). Vegetation like roots and pieces of sod. We collected dozens of nails, one punctured the paw of our dog. The sides show many sections that are not smooth all the way to the bottom, especially where they did not have enough concrete. They have been asked to come back and patch. There are multiple spots where black pits are forming after just two days.
And the most disturbing part to me was that I had to tell them they did not finish a section and that the light broom finish was the wrong way and did not match the current section of patio we had. They insisted it was dry and there was nothing they could do and laughed about it. Then I had to show them there was a big section of patio that was never broomed at all and had rainbow shaped marks in it and some deep grooves. What we ended up with is lines both directions, sections that were never smoothed at all around drains, and seeing more vegetation pieces and pits.
The owner is very willing to talk but that is all he does. He talks but he can't solve the problem they created. He also got paid in full upon completion. He only seemed willing to talk to my husband and kept cutting me off when I tried to explain what happened and what I observed (and I was the only one here). He made lots of exucses on how fine it looks but there is no denying it looks bad.
We would never recommend this company. There are far roo many things wrong to overlook.
