Review content:
Ever Green House is wedged into a lackluster section of Salt Lake's sometimes-unsightly State Street, and it's usually my first choice for a delicious, filling dinner at the end of a taxing day. The staff is small, softspoken, courteous, and has a strong track record of getting orders right (even if it takes a while to prepare the food). Tofu bao makes a great appetizer, and the #7, ""curry potato with soybean,"" is the one dish that will always put me in a good mood no matter what happened at the office. The decor is a bit dated, the water is served in plain paper cups, and the music is a bit cheesy, but the food's so good you won't mind it a bit. If you're a chopstick snob like my sister, ask for them when you order; the default utensil is a stainless-steel fork.
Pros: delicious, usually quiet, relaxing
