Review content:
I worked at St. Matthews for 5 years. If you are searching for a quality preschool education and nurturing environment, go today and get on the waiting list. It's not at all what you expect when you drive up to the church. What you find inside is a group of people who truly love children and want to be there. It helps when the School Director, Mary, is a loving, caring Chrisitian whose goal is to make childcare and preschool education affordable and to make her teachers happy to go to work everyday. I loved going to work there every day. Parents who are concerned about whether their children will succeed in Kindergarten or whether their children will qualify for the Vanguard Program are thrilled to find that their worries vanish when they see the commitment the teachers have to the children. Many parents are there for years with their children. I was one of them. I started my 4 year old there and kept my next two children there while I worked there until they all graduated preschool. Two of my children were accepted into the Vanguard program. The last child was not tested because my family moved out of Houston and I did not have to worry about that.
