Unfortunately I do not have a good review for Spherion as a company. I worked for them for three years and was placed at ABB in Wichita Falls. Not once in the three years did Spherion contact me not did they do anything when I had a problem. They do not offer vacation or sick time so once you are in an assignment you are stuck with no time off unless you are willing to go without pay. I stayed with the same assignment for the three years of employment. The assignment ended because ABB closed it's doors for good in this area. We were all laid off. Spherion did not step forward once to help the temp employees that were assigned there. Once my assignment ended I walked into Spherion and let them know. I then began collecting unemployment. Spherion put a stop to my unemployment by lying and saying that I quit my job. They used their call in list as their documentation. Well, of course I did not call in as I had just stated that I WALKED in and let them know the assignment ended. When I attempted to gather documentation to prove my case, Spherion ordered me off their property and refused to speak with me. I lost my case because I had no backup to prove I walked into Spherion. This company I worked at for three years dumped on me and cost me $2600 which I now have to pay back even though I still do not have a job in this horrible economy. I do not recommend this company to anyone looking to find temporary or full time work. They are all about the bottom line...not the individual!
