My 82 yr old mother went there for an engine check light warning. Ruddy added radiator fluid which she needed. He then wrote up an estimate for over $800.00 to replace the entire radiator. I (her daughter) took the car to Glens garage in Scotia for an estimate and he replaced and tightened the radiator hose that was loose ( or cracked) and charged me $25.00. Car runs great now!!! It just so happens that when my mom was getting her $800.00 estimate from Ruddys there was another elderly woman in the waiting area getting the same bad news that she also needed an entire new radiator system for over $800.00!! When we questioned the estimate he responded that he hooked it up to the computer, he wouldnt even look at it for us. Lesson, always get a second or third opinion. We did and it saved us $775.00!!
