I cannot express what a bad experience I had here. Not only did i spend three times what i've spent to have anything else made (in new orleans, comparing to nyc is an entirely different story altogether), but a FALL dress that was supposed to be made back in November (which was pretty slow to begin with) is STILL not finished, in nearly february. i could go on for days about the poor quality and unbelievably BEYOND rude customer service i experienced, but i'll leave it at this. Basically i would rather scrap together pieces of rags myself than return and have something made here. Also, after ignoring my detailed instructions and making a fairly significant mistake, she tried to UPCHARGE me to fix it, AFTER her error cost me another $100 in additional fabric, which was only needed due to her mistake! Even now that she's fixing my incorrectly made dress AGAIN, it STILL won't be made as I paid for and I will have to take it elsewhere to have topstitching done (for an extra fee as it will be elsewhere), as gerry conveniently didn't realize i wanted top stitching (despite instructions AND photos)! The rudeness with which we were treated (when my entire family and myself hold graduate degrees, so I am not used to being spoken down to, as though I'm a blithering idiot, for absolutely no cause) is reason enough to never come back here, even if i WERE satisfied with my end product (god knows when i'll receive a wearable end product, after nearly $400 in the hole with gerry, PLUS $400 on fabric--I may as well have purchased the original designer dress rather than having a crappy, equally expensive replica made!)!
