Review content:
Extremely unreliable, unprofessional, and dishonest. There were assurances of making sure the projects we wanted done were going to be done by professionals within a certain time period. It took more than 3 times longer and 3 different guys to come for all the projects to be completed and it wasn't even completed the way it was supposed to. (It took 10 weeks when it was supposed to be completed in less than 3 weeks-per the contract House Doctors created).
There was an extreme lack of communication. We had expressed that if plans were changing or delays were happening, to please inform us so that we are kept in the loop and could arrange our plans accordingly. Apparently, that discussion meant absolutely nothing to him and unfortunately we were not able to host any events in our home for 2 1/2 months.
After ""completion"" of the projects we paid them for the work that was done and had to argue that we weren't going to pay them for the work that was not done. We were then told (threatened) that we were to see them in court for the amount that was not paid. We paid close to $10,000 for everything and they are threatening us for about 700 bucks for a job that wasn't even done. And on top of that the owner threw insults our way by saying we were cheap and were bad people.
The owner of this branch, is more concerned with collecting the money than really making sure you are happy with their work. We had gotten many estimates from many different places and House Doctors had the highest quote. But since it ""seemed"" more professional, we decided to go with them because we wanted to go with quality rather than just going the cheaper route and risk quality. What a big mistake that was. I had to give it one star or else I couldn't submit this review.
