Leal's Mexican Restaurant

Review content:
This is the newest of the Leal's restaurants in Texas, owned by the actual Leal family (and not to be confused with the Leal's ""chain"" restaurants). The family hails from Muleshoe, TX (west of Lubbock). This is one of their nicer restaurants and has a number of new dishes not found at other Leal's around the panhandle. I would say the atmosphere is nice, restaurant staff is mostly good (besides the occasional lousy one), and the food is some of the best in town. Adult beverages (besides beer) are on the high side, but they're well-made and worth the price. I love their enchilladas (all kinds) and most everything on the menu has been good. The wait isn't bad most of the time except for Friday nights (which is just like anywhere else). It's my favorite mexican restaurant in town, and I'm glad Abuelo's finally has some good competition!
