Review content:
I've been coming to this place for years. Needless to say, it's just a great place with a warm atmosphere & excellent food. The staff is very courteous & Tuesday nights are a blast with regulars that arrive at the sushi bar early until the fun stops (on occasion they've been known to cut some patrons off from their sake for safety reasons). This place was taken over by different owners about 4 years ago and has continued to blossom ever since as they (the new owners) redid the joint and rule with a ""customer satisfaction before the bill"" attitude. Buy a large bottle of sake and they'll hold it for you on your next visit. I love Matsuya and really recommend it. Reservations for prime nights would be wise.
Pros: Warm atmosphere, great food.
Cons: Can be hard to get a seat without reservations on weekends. Call ahead.
