ADT is the worst company ever. I would give ADT a negative star if it was an option. I tried to cancel my monitoring after my two year contract had expired and they refused to cancel it. It wasn't just poor customer service it was hostile to the point I thought of turning them in the Attorney General for illegal practices. After threatening a lawsuit they finally left me alone and canceled my account. I have used the system with just the on site alarm for years and had no issues. Now I am adding a bedroom in my basement so I want to add one contact to my system at the window. They will not add to any system unless you sign a new monitoring contract. I personally will NEVER use ADT again. I would suggest you use ANY other home security company.
